We are currently seeking Rural Internet Cable Technicians to add to our team. The strong demand for internet in the rural communities surrounding Hamilton and Niagara areas means the opportunity to get paid very well in a growing industry is now available.
Applicants to be considered for this position should have the following skills:
- Ability to work on your own without supervision and maintain equipment.
- An understanding of computers and iPhone/Android apps.
- Have a Smart Phone and laptop for work purposes.
- Valid "G" Drivers license and clean abstract and criminal background check required.
- Fluent in English with excellent customer service skills.
- Comfortable with ladders and heights, work at heights and lift up to 70lbs.
- Ability to work is all weather conditions (safety is always priority).
Online training, certification and on-the-job training will be provided. Company work vehicle may be provided though applicants with acceptable vehicles can be considered. Pay is per job. Sales opportunities also available, Xplornet's LTE is by far Canada's best rural internet service, sales are easy and pays well above average if you are willing to work.
